Insects and other critters seek sunshine. How often have you seen hordes of bees on a flowering shrub in full light, but few hovering once the sun begins to set? This little horny toad was sunning on a rock in the mountains near Ruidoso, NM, recently. He was a high-altitude reptile and perfectly came for photo sessions by SWG's Teresa Odle and her son-in-law.
